A FLEUR DE

Solo exhibition at the Textile Box of the Museum of Costume and Lace, Brussels, 2016.

Head accessories and ambiguous creatures come to life through an interaction of lace and forgotton embroderies or drawings translated into printed fabrics. Familiar objects and organic quilted materials generate votive feasts and create whole or fragmented wandering silhouettes.

Techniques; Digital printing, embroidery, handmade bobbin lace, stringing, jacquard knitting, sewing.

The semi industrial / handmade cords are made in collaboration with Rubis n.v. in Belgium.
